Here is a very good guitar buying guide video I found describing the many different guitars and the type of music each guitar is made for. The background sound is a little fuzzy but this is one of the better videos I have seen on what to look for in a guitar.

If your doing research on a what kind of guitar to buy I would really recommend this video.
